International
Language Center
is proud to offer an innovative and proven approach to language
learning. Students no longer have to conform to strict, grammar-based
university courses or inflexible private school instruction courses.
Our program is highly effective because we let our students custom
tailor their course to suit their needs, interest and schedule.

Teaching
Methods
The teaching
method selected is the heart of the program; it gives the student
the structural knowledge of the language. Our students have a
choice of three different teaching methods based on varying ratios
of conversation and grammar.
PURELY CONVERSATIONAL:
100% conversation and no grammar.
CONVERSATIONAL:
75% conversation and 25% basic grammar.
CLASSICAL:
50% conversation and 50% grammar.

Interest
Topics
Topics of Interest
add character to the course. A student can choose from a variety
of topics to customize his/her instruction further. One can also
choose the amount of time devoted to a particular topic. These
Topics of Interest may not be available in all teaching levels.
Our topics include:
- Customized
Terminology:
Learn the specific terminology of your choice.
- Business
terminology: General or industry-specific terminology.
- Business
and/or Social Etiquette:
Learn proper behavior in either setting.
- Public
speaking: Special training for presenting speeches
or participating in conferences.
- Telephone
skills: training for people requiring good telephone
communication skills.
- "Real
life" Lessons:
training at locations other than the school.
- Pronunciation
and accent correction: every course we offer includes
teaching the correct pronunciation, accent and intonation. However,
for the more advanced language student we offer a specialized
conversational course which emphasizes accent reduction, pronunciation,
idiomatic constructions as well as slang usage.
- Cultural
topics: This includes economic, business, historical,
artistic, religious, political and cultural information on a
specific country.
